At Woodford, we recognise the value of aftercare and maintenance after an initial building project has been completed. As part of our Facilities Management offering to customers, we have a dedicated in-house team looking after and managing any issues that arise within the initial 24-month general defects liability period. Our team has extensive knowledge and experience across a number of industry sectors, allowing us to provide maintenance services for a wide range of applications. We also recognise the importance of comprehensive aftercare, ensuring we continue to provide an effective level of back-up and support.
As part of Woodford’s aftercare offering, we have a skilled team of engineers available to offer help and assistance on site. We take a pragmatic approach to aftercare, allowing us to deal with any issues arising after a project has been completed, while ensuring everything still runs efficiently and effectively. We have a collaborative, fully transparent approach to aftercare and work hand-in-hand with all our customers across a range of sectors to meet their requirements. Clients are also asked to rate our performance to ensure we are delivering an exceptional level of service.
We prepare bespoke plant maintenance schedules for all equipment within a client’s building. We also ensure all plant items have service visits scheduled in accordance with the manufacturers’ requirements. Our skilled team of engineers are on hand 24/7 to attend callouts during the pre-agreed defect liability period. Our general defects liability period is 24 months, although we can also create bespoke maintenance plans accordingly.
Woodford provide comprehensive Energy Centre Health Checks to ensure your equipment is running 24/7 with minimal issues. The monthly visit consists of checks to all the equipment, making sure the flow and return temperatures are correct and there are no leaks, noises or alarms. These checks are recorded and reported back to our clients. We also provide a dilapidation service to enable you to budget ahead of any failures.
A building services validation is an inspection of plant and installations to assess physical condition, compliance and capacity. The test would typically be performed on buildings scheduled to be fitted out or altered to Cat A or B standard. It includes taking readings and recording comprehensive data on all existing mechanical, electrical and controls systems. Woodford undertakes site inspections and surveys to ensure all plant and equipment is performing in accordance with the building design criteria, as well as prevent and potential issues arising in future.
