1. What attracted you to your current role of Financial Controller? The finance department was going through a major transition – systems & staff structure and it was the perfect opportunity to work closely with the Finance Director to shape the future of the department, improve processes and provide monthly reporting to senior management. 2. What are your biggest challenges in this role? Ensuring that all the different elements (sales, purchase, subcontractor, payroll) close their ledgers on time and accurately, the production of the monthly management accounts and preparation of the monthly board pack. 3. 1. What attracted you to your current role? I joined Woodford in 2017 as an office administrator and was keen to progress my career from day one.
